Hallotober Tag

The Beautiful Georgia from George-BritVoyage tagged me in her Hallotober Tag, so I couldn't want to fill out my answers and Nominate some other bloggers.

What’s your favourite thing about October?

I love October, as I love my blankets, candles, home scents. I often feel more drained in 0ctober, maybe because we normally have busy summer breaks (obviously not as busy in 2020, but defiantly a lot more stressful).

Are you a big celebrator of Halloween?

I'm not say I'm a massive celebrator of Halloween. Even though i have 2 children one ages 15 and a 2 year old. My 15yr old likes to go out and get sweets. But its not a massive deal. Yes we dress up and we go out. But once home that's it. This year will be different though as we will not being going out, so we will have a mini Halloween party with some food and sweets.

What’s your favourite horror movie?

I'm a big Thriller, Horror movie fan and my favourite films are the grudge, insidious and the ring.

Would you rather a cosy night in watching horrors or a big night out in a costume?

Normally for Halloween  I would normally go trick or treating.  however because of 2020 we're going to have to stay in.  the plan this year is to have a party,  will be having a buffet and playing games.  The good thing about Halloween is you don't need to go out to dress up you can dress up at home.

Which has been your most favourite costume to date?

My favourite costume to date is when I got stuck in a corset. It was so embarrassing that my oldest year old had to cut me out with scissors. Obviously I couldn't go outside my my boobs on display. I don't want to embarrass myself let alone him. So I got changed and we went out. Obviously I cant share the photo here as its far to inappropriate.

Bobbing for apples or pin the hat on the witch?

I've never really been a big fan of apple bobbing.  normally will just play  pass the parcel and pin the hat on the Witch. We also play musical statues because it's Halloween good Halloween game.

How do you celebrate Halloween?

Normally for Halloween we would go trick or treating get some sweets and then come home and chill out.  We're not too fussed about celebrating we would rather just chill out have some food and watch TV in our pyjamas. I even tried to make some Halloween cupcakes, and it didn't go out to well. The cake was ok, but not the icing.

What’s your least favourite horror?

I don't really like the movies like Paranormal Activity,  all the Saw movies because, I prefer ghosts and thrillers.

Do you have a favourite trick or treating memory?

I don't really have a favourite trick or treating memory they are kind of blur into one.

What’s your favourite thing about Halloween?

My favourite thing about Halloween is the kids being able to enjoy themselves dress up and be in Halloween costumes wouldn't normally be in.

Scary costume or Silly costume?

A scary of silly costume this depends on my mood really a lot of children just prefer to be vampires or ghost. Now I have the 2-year old he doesn't like to be scared even just going into shops he screams and cries. So since he's been born we've been a lot more careful with the decorations and costumes.

What’s your favourite Halloween candy?

I really have do not have a favourite Halloween candy I like all candy especially chocolate.

Do you think the UK celebrate Halloween as much as America?

Unfortunately the UK doesn't seem to celebrate Halloween as much as they do in America. American costumes seem very scary. They also have a lot more props and decorations for their home and outside.  Americans also seem to not have child-friendly décor,  it seems a lot more adult themed. Adults seem to enjoy Halloween more in America.
