Try A snack with the British Snack co
Awfully Posh.
If you haven’t heard of Lomo, Prepare to be amazed. Made with the finest Spanish Pork Loins, which they gently cure with a blend of paprika and garlic. They then delicately slice and air dry them, resulting in the outrageously delicious Lomo Crisps you’ll find in this enchanting little bag.
Lomo Crisps Allergens: Gluten Free High Protein Who do they appeal to? Traditionally this market has been dominated by men who have eaten traditional pork scratchings in the pub. Whilst this audience are still important there has been growth in the number of young millennial women who enjoy their range. This is likely to be due to the fact that they are high protein and low-carb, and so work well with both the KETO and Atkins approach to meal plans. The Awfully Posh range also includes Pork Puffs, Pork Scratchings and Pork Crackling.
I was sent these to review and I'm excited to tell you I am also able to offer one of you/ my readers a sample box from The British Snack Co, for you to enjoy.
Review
My box arrived with in a few days off it being sent, and came well packed. I wasn't sure what to expect but I was actually surprised. I loved the simple box with the details off the company on it, and their snacks. In my box I was sent 5 packets of the Awfully Posh Lomo crisps. I honestly was not sure what to expect or if I would like them.
Lets talk about the package itself. The packaging is bright and colourful which means its more likely to stand out at supermarkets and pubs, there is a photo of the product on the front of the package which helps you know more about the item that is inside the packet. I struggled to get into my packet, which means that its sealed well for freshness and unlike some other brands I have tried I do not need to worry about it popping, or opening un expected. The ingredients and nutrition are well layed out on the back and it clearly tells you how they are made, the ingredients and how to store then. The bag itself is 25g, which is more than enough to keep you going.
Inside the bag there was a good amount off crisps and a lot more than you get in some other brands. I was actually presently surprised as I expected there to be a smell as its meat but there wasn't one. Being new to this brand I was not sure if I would like this flavour or the crisps, however these too me tasted like Bacon. Which makes sense as they are made from Spanish pork.
Final words
I would defiantly recommend this product, having not tried this before, I was surprised its better than I expected. I'm not a fan off beef jerky or other meat related products but this was better than expected, for anyone who loves beef jerky or want to try this sort of product I would recommend. What more As I said at the start of this post, I am able to give you the chance to grab yourself some bags to sample. Please use the form below to enter.
