Hacks For Saving Money And Dating Online

A lot of us have learnt a lot this year and in the past year especially with covid-19 going around and a lot of us feel the most alone. Most of us have never felt as lonely as we have since this pandemic hit us. I'm going to give you some of my hacks on how to date online and save money in the long run.

Being Yourself

Being yourself is very important when online dating. It's important to make sure that you're yourself, there's nothing worse than talking to someone online for possibly weeks or longer, to finally meet them and discover they are nothing like they perceive to be on their profile. It's also important to make sure that your photos represent who you are along with what you look like now, not photos that were taken months ago or even years, because if you do decide to meet offline then you need to look genuine. You don't want the person that you meet to feel like that you've tricked them into meeting you or to not look anything like the photos you posted online.

Make sure the person is genuine

Where possible it's important to make sure the person you're talking to is genuine. It's obviously difficult to know 100% when talking online, however, it's very important. There are a number of ways to make this possible this may even mean using an app built within the site you're using to check via webcam that they are who they say they are, and for them to know that your also who you say you are.  There a lot of TV programmes at the moment especially the one called Catfish where people pretend to be someone they're not and could even be a different gender than the one you think you're talking too. Therefore it's important for you to save time and money because sometimes these people can ask for money. Getting the correct energy from the person you're talking to, making sure they're paying you attention if they are very rarely replying to messages, and you feel like you doing all the work is a warning sign.If you send a long message to them and they just reply with three words saying something like "ok that sounds good" then this potentially could mean that they're not interested, in you they're not putting in enough effort and you're going to waste your time and money chatting to them.

Where do I meet people?

Deciding where you talk to people and meet people online can be extremely important because it's a lot easier for someone to create a free account on a website or an app, that is free. It's easier for people who are married or catfishing to make a profile without out getting detected. In order for you to have an account on the dating website, they need your bank details, so its something that will put off a lot of people who are not serious about dating. If you meet someone who is married or a catfish, this can then cause problems later down the line especially if you form an attachment with them. I always recommend using a paid-for site which means that people are less likely to fake. If your Staffordshire singles then Staffordshire dating is a website I really recommend to find people who are local to you

Save Money With Trials

A way to save money is to use free trials when dating. Online dating websites sometimes offer free trials, to explore and use their website, in order to get you to see the potential matches and services they offer. This normally means that when you join a website you're able to trial the site before you buy it, this might be for a week or sometimes they offer you a month free. There may even be an offer where if you buy a month subscription you get a month for free. This, in the long run, will save you money but also give you time to meet the perfect match.

Arrange A Face To Face Date

My most important tip for me to give to you when dating someone online is that you make sure, you arrange a proper date with them in person. You don't have to wait for someone to ask you out on a date if you feel you have gotten to know them for long enough online, then, you can ask them. So many people share their experiences of online dating, where people talk to people, sometimes years and feel that they're in a relationship with the person they are talking to online and have spent time, money, and put a lot of energy into something that isn't really a relationship. Also its normally likely that the person they're talking to normally turns out not to be the person they thought they were in the way of age looks and possibly even gender. This is because people like the idea of the person they are talking to, and make excuses and belive the tricks they are told by the people who are not genuine.

Making sure someone knows where you are.

When dating online it's important that if you do meet somebody that, you always tell somebody you trust. It's important to make sure they find out that you are ok. Also for there to be a signal if you need help. Make sure you are meeting people in public, where a lot of people around. It is important to tell someone where you're going,  from my experience I would also provide that someone I trust, with any details on the person you have and going to meet. This would include what site you've used and communicated on,  the name and mobile number,  where you're meeting them, what time and for how long you're going to be. When the date is over inform the person you trust that you've got home safely.

It's important if you meet someone to remember that, if you're struggling financially then you should be able to discuss money issues with them.
