Sooper Book's Competition

Who are Sooper Books

Sooper Books is a website which has online stories for children and families to enjoy. They offer original, contemporary retellings of classic fairy tales. All books include a professional audiobook and are all beautifully Illustrated. The Stories are written by a husband and wife from London. The Wife Charlene is the illustrator of the books and she attended a top London art school, she has worked with some famous treating card companies and even won awards for her designs. Simon worked for one of the world top investment banks, but couldn't stop making people laugh with his rhymes. So they both decided they had a passion for life and wanted to work together to create entertaining children's stories.

Information on Sooper Books

Spooper Books launched last year. The aim is to sell high-quality online stories for a fraction of what a traditional publisher would want. In order to help the business grow, the husband and wife duo quickly realised they needed to hire another creative director and illustrator in order for the online library to grow faster, due to the amazing success they achieved. With the Sucess of the website Sooper books have managed to outrank CBeebies for "bedtime stories". The website had been used over 6.9million times, meaning that books have been read and listened to a huge amount of times. This Means that Sooper Books is easily the Uk's number one children's story website.

What's Included

Sooper Books offers a 7-day free trial, which allows you to view the large library of books which includes audiobooks, to enable the books to be bought to life and enjoyed as a family. This also allows children to be able to enjoy the books, without needing an adult to sit and read to them, which is fantastic as it means you can get on with some daily chores while the kids listen to an audiobook. Each book has 100% original rhyming stories and illustrations. You are able to get access to anything and anywhere on any device, which makes it easier no matter what you want to use in order to listen and read the books that are available on the website.

How much does it cost?

As I said above, you have the ability to trail for 7days the website, in order to see the whole range of the books available for you to enjoy as a family and to get your children into enjoying books. Once the trial ends there Is a membership fee of £7.95 per year. Yes, you did read that correctly the membership is less than £1 a month, and you are able to gain access to all books and audio for the year.

Plans for 2021

After the huge success that Sooper books had in the first year, as mentioned above they have taken on 2 new people to help them make more books for you to enjoy. The plan is to have over 100 new stories for 2021, in of which will be included in the amazing membership fee of £7.95 for the year. They are hoping for more readers to join them on the Book journey and for children and young people to find their love in books.
